Andrew “Andy” R. Jensen, 52 of Temperance, MI, went to party with Jesus on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at The Toledo Hospital.  Born July 16, 1962, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of James J. and Dorothy L. (Stocker) Jensen. A 1980 graduate of Whitmer High School, he married Tammy Kraus September 8, 1990.  He was employed as an assembler by GM Powertrain for 28 years, and was a member of the U.A.W., Local 14, where he was on the joint Community Services Board. Andy was active in his children’s activities, coaching 3-B Baseball, Soccer, and Softball. He also coached for the Women’s Semi Pro Football team in Toledo, Thee Toledo Reign. Andy was an active member of Erie United Methodist Church, where he was a certified lay speaker, teaching Sunday School, serving on various boards and running the sound system. He loved hunting, fishing, but most of all spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy.  Children, Nikki and Caleb Jensen.  Mother, Dorothy Jensen. Father and Mother-in-law, Jim and Onalee Kraus. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, James F. Jensen.

Visitation will be from 3-9 pm, Sunday, December 7, 2014, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI.  Funeral services will be held Monday, December 8, 2014, at Erie United Methodist Church, 1100 East Samaria Rd., Erie, MI 48133, where he will lie in state after 10:00 am.  Reverend Megan Walther, officiating.  Interment will follow at Bedford Memorial Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the church. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
